What is the name of your state CA
:) I have a home that shares a driveway with my neighbor. There is an easement and because of it, neither of us park in the garage at the end of the driveway or use the driveway except to occasionally drop off or pick up. We both park on the street and have for the 8 years that I have owned my home. The homes were built in 1916, so the garages are actually to small too fit a car in.
My neighbor is extremely nasty and rude and anytime someone pulls in to the driveway for more than 10 minutes she either sends us a letter, or comes over and yells at the person to move their car.
My question is really, what if I need to use the driveway for construction purposes?
I have informed all my contractors that they need to load and unload only, but sometimes. they need to be in the driveway, or store supplies overnight.
I have sent my neighbor a letter letting her know that there would be workers coming in and out, and occasionally there would be some supplies stacked as close as possible to my house, for no longer than 24 hours.
Still, this morning she cam over and took a picture (shes storing up all my wrongdoings on film) and Im sure a letter will ensue.
Dont i have any rights to use my driveway when I am improving my home if i am considerate about it.
She hates everything and everyone,so its a difficult situation. PLUS SHE DOESNT PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY OR GARAGE!!!
thanks!
