What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

My employer has frozen use of all personal time acquired by all staff. I understand the new rule of us having to give 30 days notice prior to using our vacation time but are they able to just Suspended all employees of using what personal time hours we have earned through our hours worked?

Thank you but can you please tell me how can they do this if it is really a benefit that has been earned by hours worked...

By law, an employer has to pay you for time worked.

The employer doesn't have to pay for time NOT worked.

Except:

Do you have a contract? Are you represented by a union contract?

Because there is no law saying they can't. They aren't taking it away, they're just not letting you take it right now.
