What is the name of your state? OH.

My son was an athlete in a local organized sport (not school affiliated). During his time there I took several photos of all club members and allowed them to be posted on their website. Last year, he left that club and joined another. Recently, the club created an ad campaign and is using my photo of my son in it. I do not mind that my photos are in the ad campaign, however, I want my son's photo removed. I have asked twice that the photo be removed from the ad, however it remains. What can I do legally to have his photo removed?

Do you have any written agreements with the club over the use of the photos? If so, that will tell you what you can and cannot do.

If you don't have an agreement, you can send a takedown notice under 17 USC 512(c) to the club's ISP. USe Google or whatever to find out exactly how to send a takedown notice. Note that you could also simply inform the club that if they don't take down your son's picture, you intend to file a take down notice, that might be enough to let them know you are serious.
