I bought an 88 S10 Blazer yesterday. When I purchased it, it was under an as-is agreement, but I asked about the mechanical condition before purchase. The seller being a repair shop said they had the vehicle for a month or so but needed to sell it, but it was in good condition. I got the vehicle home and noticed a gas leak and then it wouldn't start. I had it towed to a repair shop today and they estimated the repair cost over $1000. Do I have any rights as far as what I was told by the shop about the condition of the vehicle? The repair shop I took it to today said that if the shop had the vehicle for any longer than a few days they would have had to notice the gas leak.
