What is the name of your state? Minnesota

My car boke down, and needed a car. So i went to the town dealer and found a car. I bought it and TWO days later <115 miles> it ran out of coolant and over heated. I didn't let the gauge get in the red, i filled it with coolant and drove for ONE and a Half day <125 miles> and it did it again, i needed to get home so i filled it up and then on the way home i pulled over to check the coolant level and when i opened the hood the coolant ways coming out of the resivior cap, i called the dealer and he said he sold it "as is". I knew that it was a used car, and ran great on the test drive.

I'm just wondering and hoping that there is someone or a law that can help me out.
My email is [email protected] if you can help me 320 336 9869

I have the shop looking at it right now, so i'm not sure on the damage.
I thank you for reading this, and if there is nothing i can do i would like to know that to.

Thanks again
Charlie

Not so fast SJ -

OP - how old was the car? How many miles did it have on it? How much did you pay for it? And, lastly, what exactly did the mechanic say was wrong with the car?

Car information

1995 Ford Contur, 170,000 on body and 90,000 on a different engine that was installed before was traded into dealer. The mechanic found that the computer was not letting the fan turn on, and thus was over heating. So i'm putting aaonther computer in it.

I have no clue if i can do anything, i am just looking to make sure.

I thank you for your time in helping me!

There's nothing you can do unless the dealer supplied you with a warranty. Minnesota excludes cars with more than 75,000 miles from warranty coverage when sold by a dealer unless a warranty is expressly provided.
