What is the name of your state? louisiana
i am a 77 yr old woman who just recently sold my 1989 buick century. the buyers came by several times and test drove the car. i told them that the ac did not work and muffler needed changing--otherwise i was still driving the car until i bought a new one. after completing all sale procedures they left with the car. the next day they returned and wanted money back....they discovered the transmission needed repair???? i offered to pay for that repair. now they have presented me with a letter from a lawyer claiming i knew of the problem (i did not know!) and hinting legal action (sue). where do i stand in this?
