What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I am hoping someone here can help me. I bought a 2007 Saturn Relay in Jan 09. It had 40k miles and was under manufacturer's warranty til 48k and was sold as a GM Certified Used Vehicle. It has all the bells and whistles from seat heaters to automatic sliding doors.
3 wks after I bought it, the passenger automatic sliding door started working intermittently. As in, you push the button and pray that it opens. I brought it in, they "fixed" it and gave it back to me. The next day I came out to a dead battery because the motor to close the door ran until the battery died. I jumped the van and went about my day. I noticed sometimes when I closed the door, the motor would keep "closing" it, even though it was already closed. The van would start dinging to tell me the door was open. Also, I would drive it down the freeway, all doors closed obviously, and it would start dinging like the door was open again. So I brought it in again. They "fixed" it and gave it back.
A few mornings later, I came out to a van that was wide open, apparently the doors decided to open on their own. A few days later, the controls on the steering wheel were acting up, the mute button would change the radio station and the volume controls wouldn't work. Then the seat heaters went out. Once again, I brought it in, they "fixed" it and gave it back.
Guess what, the doors are acting up again and so are the steering wheel controls.
Do I have a case to make Saturn take the vehicle back and pay off the loan and return my deposit?
