What is the name of your state? california

my wife went to a dealership got a car (1995 four door used diamonte) . 28 days after getting the car. the car lost its wheel (front driver side) on the way to the dealers and the dealership says we have to pay half of the cost of repairs to the car called a 50/50 deal. and they are not willing to switch to a different car at the same price range. my wife is scared to get in the car again and living in the mountains its scary to think of another tire coming off on her next time with cliffs less then ten feet away at any time.
so my question is how do i get them to null and void the contact or fix it right at no or little cost out of our pocket?

Pay the 50/50 deal. Put the car up for sale. Sell it and purchase another one. That is going to be your best bet. It was your responsibility to check this out before purchasing a used car. Even if it had a warranty on it, it would only help with repairs not change anything with the contract. There is no way of getting them to do this unless they just decide to out of the goodness of their hearts and I don't think that is going to happen.
