What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

I purchased a used vehicle from a dealership about a week and a half ago. 5 days ago while doing regular driving, and after getting an oil changed the day before, my engine blew. On the Wisconsin's Buyer Guide there is no mention of ANY engine problems. His door says all sales AS-IS but can he do that without disclosing an engine problem??? I have the buyers guide scanned if anyone needs to see it. Thank you E-mail me if needed

It appears you believe that the dealership is at fault or was being deceptive in not telling you about engine problems? What exactly happened to the engine? Was it run out of oil? Was it a normal type of thing that went out such as a broken belt or hose? Or was it something that was patched and then came apart? How long was this vehicle on the dealers lot? Where did he acquire it from? Was there any possibility that the oil change shop did something? Have you had an automotive expert look at the vehicle?

If the dealership knew about a problem, they are obligated to tell you. I also assume that you did not purchase any extended warranty? I'm curious - at what point in time, if your engine failed, would you not blame the dealership? Two weeks? Month? Year?

Things break and cars have lots of parts. Answer the above questions and I can help you more.
