What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?CA

I bought a lemon boat from a private owner who ranted and raved how the boat was in perfect condition and all was working perfectly. The motor fired up at his house so I paid the $9500 and signed for it. Then the next day when tested on the water, the motor frozed. This was confirmed by a certified outboard mechanic. Do I have any legal rights to get a refund for his false statements. I have 4 other witnesses. His ad in boattrader also says in "good working condition."

Obviously it should have been tested on the water prior to purchasing the boat.

Please respond directly to [email protected] and thanks for any advice.
