I would like to decoupage a copyrighted image onto a piece of furniture, and then donate the finished piece to a charity auction. The image is a reproduction of a painting which appears in a calendar. The piece would be unique (I'm not going to mass market it) and I would not benefit financially from it (although the charity would). Do I need permission to use the work in this way?
