Va driver got speeding ticket in NC

My 17 yr old son got a speeding ticket in NC coming off the interstate ramp. 70 in a 55. He will be 18 before his court date. He has a clean driving record in VA. He has taken driving school in va 1 time . Can he be considered for a Prayer for Judment in NC? Please respond asap. Thanks

My information is that he cannot get a PFJ since he is out of state. I have gotten reports that this has been done anyway in some situations so it seems to vary by the court. He needs to go in and talk to the ADA. I also understand that an under 10mph ticket will not be reported back to VA. You need to verify this with the NC DMV to be sure.
