Vacation Payout

What is the name of your state? Illinois

I recently quit my job and researched the company policy on vacation payout prior to leaving to ensure that I was covering my bases so that I would get paid out. It's been one month to the day and I have yet to get my earned payout. I keep getting the run around. Doesn't the employer legally have to pay out vacation days within a certain amount of time of the employee leaving?

If the employer has not paid you your unused vacation pay, you can file a complaint with the state DOL.
