What is the name of your state? ky the company i work for requires me to work 4 ten hour days plus friday, and sat overtime. if i want the friday and sat off i must schedule a vacation day for thursday, but they will not allow me to take vacation for friday or sat is this legal?What is the name of your state?

Yes. Your employer doesn't have to offer paid vacation at all. If they do, they get to set the rules of the road.

There is no law in ANY state that requires an employer to offer paid vacation time. If they offer it, it is on their terms.
