i purchased a used car in march 2000 and i was trading in a vehicle that the dealership wanted to give me a lower price than i wanted. they were having problems financing new car and said it would be better if i sold the trade. so i went and got the trade and signed a new contract. this is the problem. they never told me that i was going to need to put down another 900.00 on top of the 3100.00 that i had already givin them. 2 weeks ago i got a bill from the dealership stating that i owe them 900.00 dollars. they stated that i signed the contract and f they would have put 10,000.00 on it i would have to pay that.. the reason i am complaining is that i did not get to read the contract as our finance manager was busy and he had someone else have me sign the contract and he did not give me a copy of it when i asked for it.. they mailed it to me 3 weeks later.
the vehicle is financed and i have made 9 payments already..
my question is do i have to pay this.. or is this fraud...
what should i do
any help would be highly appreciated..thank you in advance.
ps i live and purchased vehicle in califonia.

i will tell you from first hand experience(2 weeks ago)that the contracts are legal binding and there is no way out of it,and all the papers you sign have a loop hole in them, believe me i know
