What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon

Sorry, maybe not really a "legal" question**************in a typical franchise there's often a "franchise vehicle" involved. The franchisee has to drive around in a specific car or truck or van that has the companies graphics all over it. Or the franchise service is actually operated directly out of that vehicle. So how is that typically handled with your typical franchisee /franchisor deal?

Rented from the company by the franchisee?

or

Purchased by the franchisee as part of the requirements to operate?

I know Mcdonalds, Arbys, whatever will rent the building to the franchisee. But with a vehicle there's a lot more risk of damage, wear and tear, etc. Doesn't seem like it would be a rent situation. But maybe?
