Just recently, I received a ticket for speeding. On top of that, I was ticketed for expired registration (what a surprise to me). I paid the fine for the speeding, because I was honestly guilty of that and believe I have no contest for that in court. However, as far as the other fine (125 bucks) goes, I honestly did not know. I am 21 years of age now and for 5 years the registration information came via mail from the state. Also, the vehicle passed in state inspection when it was expired (just 1.5 months ago). I'm not the only one at fault here...the state never held up to their end of the bargain by not sending me the information and it even slipped by the state inspection station. Let me know what you think, because I never have been to one of these magisterial court rooms before and I don’t want to go in there empty handed and loose a battle I think I might have a chance with. Thanks everyone and I will look forward to your reply(s).
