Venting : sick child

What is the name of your state? Nj Ex picked up daughter tonight, I called to let him know she was sick, running fever and sleeping in her crib, let her sleep through the night and pick her up tommorrow. His response "IT IS MY TIME SO WAKE HER UP"
When I asked him not to run her around so she will not get any sicker his response "SHE WILL HAVE TEN DAYS TO RECOVER" So lets see where the best interest of the child was being put first???????????? I supplied him with her meds ,He could care less..... He sat there arrogant .........

I know you are mostly just venting but I have to say it is really sad to see a "parent" who can't put the needs of a child above their own "need" to be with the child in a situation like this. I hope that your little girl will be okay...........

My daughter came back from her visit, no medicine was given to her by his a statement and his present GF, she is fine . So why is it that she is coughing deep in her chest now and badly congested. This could have been lessened if the medicine was given . I was also told by my daughter that they slept at GF house . this is only two weeks into overnights and already the nonsense is starting about sleeping around and overnight guests.

I really feel for your, simply because I have been in your shoes, however, my daughters are now 12 and 10. If I am not mistaken, your child is only like 3 right? The father of my daughters sure sounds exactly like your ex, and you are definately going to play his game. He is going to do anything in his power to make things miserable for you. How long has he been with this girl? It seems like thats when the sh*t hit the fan in my situation, because his girlfriend was very jealous of me, so he in turn had to make her feel secure, even if it meant doing whatever he could to make my life miserable. I know this is going to sound horrible, but you are going to have to choose your battles. Some things you are going to have to let roll off your shoulder. If they knows something is really getting to you, believe me, they will continue, so you are going to have to try your best to not let it show. I know its hard, because as I said before, I have been in your shoes, only years ago. Once they didn't get a rise out of me, they pretty much weren't getting what they wanted, so some things did cease. Good Luck!
