What is the name of your state? NY
Since the day school started this year, my children (1st grade and 3rd grade) along with about 10 other childdren on their bus have been getting to school at least 20 min. late every morning. I asked the bus driver why? She said she didnt know! I called the bus company and the supervisor said she would take care of the problem, They still did not get to school on time, I spoke to the school board president who did take care of the problem. Now the bus driver is verbally abusive to all the kids on the bus, she told them "because of you kids, I am in trouble with the bus company" She has told them if they dont behave she will take them back to school and leave them there! My daughter said now all she does is scream at them, now these are small children, What is my next course of action????

Sounds like you are doing the right thing! Keep complaining to the bus company and the school system until something is done about it.

This probably isn't legal, but maybe your older child could tape record the ride to/from school so that you have a better understanding of what is really going on. (Sometimes their representation of events is biased). And if need be you can always mail them to the school board or bus company anonymously.
