hope you can help. i have gotten myself into a situation with a verbal agreement in which the other party does not want to comply. i moved from a house to an apartment and was trying to sell my furniture since i had no room in my apartment. a friend came and looked at my 6 piece oak bedroom set, was not interested in purchasing it however, offered to store it for me until i had room (her husband has a upholstry business with an insulated barn he was going to store it in). well, a year and a half later i have moved into a house and have asked for my furniture back. i have been told that the couple has been using it for a step child who stays there every other weekend and they do not want to give it up. i was unaware that they would be using it much less wanting to keep it. i have made numerous call and they do not return my messages. how can i go about getting my furniture back? advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. thank you
