My employer and I had a verbal agreement that he would assist me with my apartment rent due to my relocation from Texas to Virginia for this job until my townhouse sells in Texas. He now says that he will pay for only one more month and is demanding repayment in full by March 1 or begin monthly payments with interest (interest was never discussed) and sign a document agreening to these terms. How binding is a "verbal" agreement? Should I sign the document?
