I Live In Ontario Canada And I Am 13 Years Old.
I Threatened to beat up a kid at my school and I pushed him once! But this is only because after several years of taking abuse from him I snapped. Now his father wants to call the cops! I have already gotten suspended for 9 days from school!

Now in the past this kid has verbally and physically assaulted me. He has also threatened to kill me with hockey sticks he was keeping in his locker. Is it possible for me to press charges against him?

What have your parents told you about dealing with this young punk? You have talked with your parents about this, haven't you?

Yup

Yes I have discussed it with my parents. They don't see the need to press charges but the kids dad seems to thing pressing charges is the right way to take care of things. And if his dad thinks so (and according to the kid his dad is such a great guy) I should think so to. Because I want to be great like his dad (FYI that's sarcasm) maybe I should try to be just as great and inform the police about this punk kids behavior.

Your parents will be a lot better able to advise you, since they have been keeping an eye on the situation.

Your folks might not say it, and I probably shouldn't either, but congratulations for standing up to the bully. If you decide to snap again, a good swift kick might be worth the trouble you get in :p

Seriously, I understand your frustrations, but you don't want to cause more trouble for yourself over this fool, he has already gotten to you enough. Staying calm and being cool about it takes away some of the satisfaction.

Not Gonna Let It Fly

I am not going to let this kid get away. I am still deciding whether or not to press charges. But first I need to no if I can press charges for what he's done and what will happen to him if the police decide to take action. Also his dad is so mad at me he got his son in trouble just to get me in more trouble. And his dad has to learn a lesson. If he wants to get me in trouble and send me to juvenile hall for "assaulting" his "perfect" son then he better be ready for the consequences.

P.S.
Please answer the questions I have asked and feel free to use legal slang as I am in and enhanced school program and I understand quite a bit.
