What is the name of your state? FL

We just found out that my daughter teacher paid for a field trip ($1,000) for her today. This teacher was told before school was over that my daughter would NOT be attending.

This teacher said "but your daughter wanted to go". I told her that she can not make a verbal contract w/ a minor! and she (the teacher) should of ok'd it w/the parents prior to making any payments.

After the teachers and my heated conversation, she spoke to my daughter again and I know she told her "just pay me back when you can or find someone else to take your place".

What should we do? I don't want this teacher taking it out on my daughter when the school year starts again but, this teacher should not of done what she did.

Thanks for your advice!!
