 What is the name of your state?Louisiana

Hi Everyone, I'm new here so please bare with me. I was recently accused and charged with felony possession of stolen good over $500. Here's the situation. I received a gift from a guy I was dating. I tried to return the gift(to a local department store). Before I returned it, I removed the shipping label because I figured it would not be accepted at that location due to the pricing if it was from a different location. The manager on duty was originally trying to have me arrested for identity theft(I had used with permission my cousin"s drivers' license). Because I had permission from her to use it, that didn't stick. So the manager then lied and said that the serial numbers on the screen matched the serial numbers on a screen stolen from his store the week before. It was proven to be a lie because the shipipng label was still in my pocket that I had removed and showed that it was, not only from a different store location, but in an all together different town. The shipping label was found by the arresting officer at the police station when my pockets were searched. After she called and found out it wasn't from his store (due to shipping label) I WAS STILL ARRESTED! Can I sue the manager of the store for Knowingly lying in order to have me arrested, and can I sue the officer for continuing with the arrest after finding out the info. given by the manager was false?

What were the charges you were arrested for? If all of this was known prior to the arrest why were you still arrested? Where is the receipt? I think there is more to this story.

You do understand that the prefix "dis" means "opposite of", right? So you had a very unstressful situation? In fact being arrested must have relaxed you for you to be "un" stressed. So what are you planning to sue for? Saving you a trip to the spa?

Now on to some "facts" that need to be cleared up. You went to a store to return a product you did not buy there using an ID to represent yourself that was not yours? You also took off the shipping label to hide the fact that the product did not come from the store, correct?

Please, PLEASE, sue. I will do whatever I can to be on THAT jury!!!
