What is the name of your state? pa

My ex filed for child custody in nov 2006, there was a hearing held in early nov that I was not aware of. The Judge and the Lawyer both knew that I had not been served with papers letting me know about the hearing. The Judge continued on with the hearing anyway and heard what my ex had to say, knowing I wasn't aware of the trial, and passed a judgement on it. This whole time they knew where I resided and could have contacted me but did not. Is this a violation of my due process? and if so anyone know what I can do about it?

YOu can appeal the outcome based on lack of service if in fact service was not perfected. You need to contact the court and see when service was perfected. how did you find out about the hearing?

I found out about the hearing due to there was a second hearing held a week or two later that I had 2 days notice of. Thankfully I was able to find an attorney in that time frame. The judge even in that hearing showed complete prejudice and actaully bad talked all the laws have been made. From the beginning he showed prejudice in the second hearing.

I'm sorry I have a lot going on and didnt realize that about the posts.
