What is the name of your state? pa my wife was on viox for a year an a half before it was takin off the shelf,she never had a stroke or a heart attack,but she has had problems with her feet swelling an has headaches,blurred vision,an wieght gain,dont no if these symtoms are related to the viox,after that was takin off the shelf,she was prescribed celebrex,should we contact a lawyer,thank you advice needed

No, but you may want to try a new physician. Your wife should have a better understanding of the how's and why's of her symtpoms, which are usually/generally associated with chronic arthritis and the treatment thereof. Switching Vioxx for Celebrex is (IMHO) just about stupid unless the patient has been fully advised of the potential side effects of Celebrex and advised of the low risks (GI complaints) of taking the #1 effective treatment, good old aspirin (enteric coated, preferred).
