Hello, this might be new to you. I am canadian. I play a certain video game and have collected intangible (virtual) items which i have sold for a hefty price to a man from chicago. I gave him exactly what he asked for, and he payed with a money order. He, has for some reason, declared he has not received it and wants more. He is threatening to take me to small claims court if i do not deliver. Does he stand a chance of winning? Will any lawyer or small claims court settle a virtual transaction? If they do, and he decides to bring me to small claims court, will i be required to travel to chicago to fight it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

He can sue you in any court he wants, the only one that should matter to you is if he uses a local court. Tell the guy to pack sand where the sun don't shine.

K, but im still wondering if he could even take me to small claims court. There were no signatures, contracts, written agreements. We conversed through email only. He sent a money order addressed to me. Would this even go to court?
