visitation modification

hey all,
just wanted to know if anyone has every gone through a modification of vistitation? i had to take my ex to court 6months ago since he was moving out of town.( he seemed to think the standard would still be ok) we modified from the standard vistitation due to his move. well, now he is moving back. :eek: i just want to make sure that i am right in saying that the vistitaion that now applies will still apply when he has moved back to town. the papers filed state that the modification will be now until the children turn 18, or until modified again by court. please give me any info that youy may have. thanks :confused:

Yes, the current court order stands.

But if you're thinking of limiting him to seeing his children to, say, once a month as the current long-distance orders state, you may plan on being viewed as a beast by the judge who hears the case Dad will bring to change the orders back to standard. :rolleyes:

Learn to coparent. Don't be spiteful.
 
thanks silverplum! no on the resticting to the once a month, i was more concerned on the thursday overnight visits. my kiddos dont do too good with that. we came up with a fairly good visitation plan. fridays 6p thru sundays 6p, 1st, 3rd and 5th. thanks again :)

You're welcome. I'm very happy to read the two parents have come to an agreement that is in the best interest of the children, and much more sharing of time than a long-distance plan would provide. :)

Thats the exact schedule my ex and I have. Works great for the kids :)
