What is the name of your state? OR

I had another post about my wife running away with our son (5 years old) and not being able to find them....

My attorney and I are filing motion for emergency custody so we'll see how that goes but in the mean time I am thinking about how visitation will work in this case if I don't get primary physical.

My wife moved without warning from Oregon to Alaska and now to Washington. My son told me last week on the phone (he called me) that they were going to move to Oregon at which time my wife took the phone and hung up. She told me at one point that they were going to move to Florida...

What kind of visitation schedule can I expect to see in this situation. I have read about how modifications work when the CP moves but in this case my wife is going to be living somewhere else before an order is in place.

What kind of time can I reasonably be expecting? How about travel expenses?

I'm just wondering about this as I wait to hear from my attorney...

If I were you I would definitely try to have her held responsible for transportation expenses. 100%. I would also fight for the majority of the summer (we have it that Dad gets them from the Friday after school ends until the w/e before it starts again, with a week home in July and August). I'd also ask for at the very least alternating all school breaks, getting major holidays every other year.

Is it common to have a set schedule for phone calls? Right now she won't answer when I call and won't return my calls to let me speak to our son.

We have a schedule when the kids need to be available or the call returned w/in 24 hours. He's free to call any other time, but the kids may or may not be available (hey - we don't sit home waiting for the phone to ring, ya know?).
