Visitation/Warrent for my Arrest Prop 36

undefined What is the name of your state? " California " This friend of mine has a big problem. About 2 years ago he was arrested for a Drug charge the Judge ordered him to do this prop 36 program. He had to go to meetings,(which he never did) than he had to go in and test once a week(which he never did.) SO the Judge of course ordered a bench warrent. Well since that happened his grilfreind and him had a baby, they spilt up and now she told him to clear up his warrents, because right now she can't leave him alone with the baby in case something should happen (Like get arrested

So My question is: Should he turn himself in or take jail time or should he hire an attorney, he called an attorney already and he told him that he should do the classes and not turn himself in i was wondering if this attorney Just wants his money, and why would it be so bad for him to turn himself in and do jail time. hope you understand what I am saying

Even if he takes the classes there will still be a warrant until such time he addresses it with the court or gets arrested.

Your really asking a moral, not legal question.

The only hope he'll have is hope when they go through there books. they'll just clear the warrant. I doubt that will happen.

So what's " your Friend " want ?

Run from the warrant, and not see the kid , then wait to be arrested ?

Enroll in the classes , turn himself in, spend the night in jail, go before the Judge and hope , he/she will let him out, to continue classes ?

The lawyer just don't want his money, he is giving good advise for it .
