What is the name of your state?ALABAMA
I was in a relationship with a married man and got pregnant. It took about a year of going to court through DHR to get child support. It was difficult to prove how much he made because he owns his own business. I finally just agreed to $500/month. At that time I was in school now I work fulltime and recieve no benefits from the state. I pay health ins. $200/month and daycare $300/month plus Dr copays and medicines. Can I take him back to court for more money?? And his wife does not know about our child. I do not want him to have visitation (he has never asked for it). He has threatned to run with my baby before and his wife speaks no english and they have 3 children of their own. I just don't think it's a good idea for him to have my child at his house. Do you think a judge would grant him unsupervised visitation???

~In time, yes a judge would grant him unsupervised visitation if he petitions the court for such. However, if his wife does not know of this child and he wants to keep it this way then I doubt he would do such. If you need to money I would most definately petition the court for more. Maybe not ask for child support, but asking that he pay full medical and half of daycare is not out of the ordinary.

And the THREE kids already born before you messed around with their MARRIED father also deserve to continue to be supported by their father.

If I had known he was MARRIED I would have never gotten involved with him. His wife and kids were in Mexico when our relationship started. We were engaged and had bought a house then I found out I was pregnant. I was six months along when I found out he was married and then my mother passed away unexpectedly. I know his three kids need support too their mother can get out and work just like I do. Please find out the whole story before you condemn someone.

Whoa there........ You wrote you "were in a relationship with a married man" - NOT that "you were in a relationship with a man you DIDN'T KNOW was married".

Try typing the whole story~ We are not mind-readers

Sorry! Just wanted some advice not to be condemned. There is not enough room for me to put my whole story. Just wanted advice on visitation and child support that's all.
