would like to know reasonable visitation rights for children aged 9 and 11..have joint legal custody and father has physical placement, he now lives 2 hours from us and we moved from ohio. In ohio, got the kids on holidays and 6 weeks in the summer. would like to get kids more often as we live closer now. would also like to get physical placement changed. father is an alcholic who has had liver trasplant, and tried to commit suicide. Step-mom is verbally abusive and also drinks and drives with the children. We have no legal documentation, other than what kids say, and kids are afraid to talk because their father and step-mom have them scared. Step-mom is always the one making the decisions on when the kids can talk to me or when they can come visit, she also will sign as their mother on legal forms. My oldest daughter in the last year, has had a concussion from sledding and has broke her 2 front teeth roller-skating without any adult supervision, she is able to roam the streets until past dark. I don't have any money to get the help from a lawyer. Please help!!!
