What is the name of your state?Oregon
I am really confused and would really appriciate if someone would be able to explain or tell me how it would be possible for my employer to change my earnings on my w-2 during the year after I have filed taxes on my original earnings they stated I had earned.
To be more specific last year my w-2 said I earned 11,528.18 but this year when I downloaded a copy from the site my employer uses to do our w-2 online the earnings have changed quite a an amount to 14740.18 and I was never even informed. I know that I have noticed indiscrempencies in my pay stubs if I have had to request any of them to be reissused for proof of income for one reason or another but they were only a small amount compared to this. The 11,528.18 came from a copy of my taxes last year I saved in a file on my pc the 14,740.18 came from a downloaded copy from the w2express site. What do I do about this and why is this like this if anyone has any idea or information please please let me know.
Thank you for anything you can tell me.
