south carolina

where can i get reliable info about wage garnishment in south carolina?
this is in regard to an unsecured credit card.

they are threatening garnishment.

thanks..

you're absolutely sure?

i thank you for the reply. i would prefer to pay them, but medical problems prevent it at this time. (serious ones, both myself and husband)

and i am tapped out on home equity, and the like.

i suspected that was the case, but have been unable to find the exact law. i was going to fax it to them so they would stop telling me that and calling the HR dept at work.

thanks.
