And where I live they show up on page 3 of the newspaper every couple of weeks.
Chapter 13 bankruptcies are payment plans. The one who filed will not have wages garnished if s/he sticks to the payment plan. In Michigan, bankruptcies and foreclosures and divorces, etc., are published in the legal news.
