What is the name of your state? Vermont

I have a court ordered garnishment that is being paid directly to a person.
The court papers state an amount. But, the person being paid is adding interest to the court decision amount. Can they legally do that since no where on the decision does it state the amount plus interest until the debt is paid.
At that rate, I'll never pay it off!!

The person you're paying cannot add extra interest on debt already reduced to judgment. The judgment itself accrues statutory interest on top of the judgment amount itself.
