What is the name of your state? Arizona

I purchased a Wireless Thermostat online.
After I received the Item and testet it, I found that it would not work for me.
I contacted the Company and ask for the return, where I was told that I can return the Item for a full refund.
I returned the Item promptly in June 2005 and I still wait for my money.
The Owner of the company does not answer his phone and only answers to emails after several weeks and comes up with all kind of excuses.
His company is located in Virginia.
I don't know what I can do about this.

Thanks for any help.

Pretty simple.... at this point (with you allowing SEVEN months to pass) your only options are:
1) Travel to Virginia and file a small claims suit against them, or
2) Write this one as another life lesson learned.

Did you pay with your Credit card?

If you paid with your credit card, sometimes even past the 60 days, they may accept a dispute. Call and ask if you paid with CC. It can't hurt to try.

Wow!! What a wonderful legal post?? Of course the decision to accept or deny a dispute is entirely up to the card issuer.... but most of them will NOT accept a dispute outside the parameters stipulated by the FCBA.... and even if they did, they will reinstate the charge the minute that the merchant challenges the charge-back.

Just trying to help

Wow! feel better JETX?

I know there are rules for CC, but sometimes you can fight the rules, sure the merchant can dispute the chargeback, but in this case it looks like the merchant is gone.
Go to this group on msn.com when Cyberrebate went bankrupt, this group fought and in the end some had to sue their CC, but it looks like the majority won. With Cyberrebate, they would give you rebates usually AFTER the 60 day CC chargeback rules, so when they went bankrupt, this left hundred of thousands of customers, past their dispute time limits. So since this merchant is gone, I was just telling this person, if they paid with their CC, there MAY still be hope.
