What is the name of your state Virginia.

So I was fired from wal-mart in Dec of 2008 for "sexual harrassment", which was basicly that I told a female in elec. that I was married and not interested in her, at all, ever. Personally she looked horrible and made me sick to hear her talk about her sex life. Anyway, I worked Loss Prevention and therefore had daily contact with most of the people there. I was suspended in Nov of 2008 for cussing all because another employee told an asst. manager to F--- off and some how my bad language habits got brought up to management and I was suspended, even though the asst. manager himself regularly cussed out the employees. When I got back from my suspension I was told of the sexual harrassment and I just laughed because I knew it wasn't true. Little did I know it would take 3 weeks for the store manager to talk to, get this, 5 different females all but one of which says I touched, talked to or otherwise sexually offened them. When I was interviewed I stood my ground that I had never done anything of the sort and that was that. Well, I couldn't prove anything and in turn I was fired. Here it is one year later and I find out that all the females that made thier claims against me have been caught stealing and that it has been going on for just about a year now and that the asst. manager who got me suspended has been telling everyone he can that he is the one that got me fired, not because of the sexual harrassment but because of what ever pull he thinks he has there. I have witness's that will back up nearly all of this and also the fact that even though I used a cuss word or two and suspended it seems that Im the only one that was ever punished for that particular offense. I probably don't have a case but what does it sound like out there??

You are right, you don't have a case. It sounds to me like you should get over your bitterness and look to the future instead of dwelling on your past.

And even if you did have a case, if this happened in December 2008, the window of opportunity to do anything about it has already closed.

Thanks for being an idiot

Moving on was done a month after I left there and got another job, which I have made it to management there, so thats not a problem. I only brought this issue up because I was given the information two days ago and just simply thought I would ask for some form of feedback. Little did I know the feedback would be in the form of people being childish and ignorant. Thanks for your imput though. Have a nice one.

What more do you want, you got accurate legal information. Obviously we're not the idiots...look in the mirror when you say that.

...and he wonders why he got fired...go figure

"The answers I got were childish and ignorant" translates to "I didn't get the answer I wanted".
