my wife wants to file for a divorce, althou we have had a pretty decent marriage. she told me last week she didnt love me and she is filling for divorce under the irreconcilable differences statue of idaho code. what does irreconcilable differences mean. how is it proven in an idaho court room and what kind of defense is used. i still love my wife and dont want a divorce how can i stop this????

My response:

There's not really much you can do. Once that train gets moving, it's really difficult to do anything except go for the ride. When a person wants to leave, and get a Dissolution of Marriage, the other spouse doesn't have much control over the situation. It will happen.
