I was involved in an accident and have gotten a ticket for failure to yield as I was switching lanes. However I saw the person in the left lane behind me however he hit me I had my turn signal on and he decided to speed up. The cop said it was my faught as was turning. Its not his for speeding? The cop was just profiling me because I'm a young white male, and the other guy has been driving for 50 years however he told me that he just had another accident and had just gotten the car fixed. If he has been in 3 accidents in a month doesn't that say something? Is there any sense getting a lawyer? I would rather pay $5,000 then in lawyers fees then to pay the fine its the principle.
