Is it possible for a man to give up all legal rights, inlcuding financial responsibilty, of a child? There was never any marriage involved and he has never been a part of the childs life. Child is in OK father is in VA.

Mothers can give children up for adoption and free themselves of all responsibility, including financial. Can a non-custodial father do the same?

the only way that is possible is if both parties agree, or abandonment is proven, and in the case of financial responsibility, there is some one waiting to adopt the child.
