I am a Dad fixing to go to court in Washington Co. Ark. Wanting to modify on grounds of instability. Mother has moved my 13 yr old son 9 times. He has been to 3 schools in less than 1 yr. He is making D's & F's because he is not turning in homework and has missed 20 1/2 days of school. He now lives 4 1/2 hours from me. Still in-state though. He originally told his mother that he wanted to stay with me but she has now changed his mind. She makes him feel sorry for her. She took psych. in college and knows how to use it on him. She also uses her 3 yr old daughter (from boyfriend) to make my son feel guilty. He told me the reason he had changed his mind was because he felt like his little sister was safer if he was there and that he was all his mom and sister had. He has even had to on occasion baby-sit until 11:00 pm. When he wasn't babysitting he would be out roaming the neighborhood doing things he shouldn't. On the mothers behalf- she does have a better job now but has no employment stability either. Plus she works weekends. She has an on and off again relationship with her BF. He didn't move with them but still visits(he is in a band). I have been remarried for 9 yrs and have lived in the same home for the whole time. My son loves coming here and on Sunday's about 90% of the time will call his mom wanting to stay longer. He has alot of family here that has always been of great support for him. I have always kept my son while mom would go on trips or any other time she was too busy for him. Mom has told him I wasn't in his life the 1st 3 yrs.--BULL--have pics. to prove it. My son even asked me once why I didn't pay CS. I told him that I do- he said, Mom told Nanny that you don't so Nanny has to give her money. Is that "alienation"? I also have a witness that has seen my son roaming the streets at 10:30pm on school nights about 4 miles from home. What do you think? What witnesses would be helpful?
