I live in NC. My boyfriend lives in TN we want to move and start a life together. How hard will it be for us move with out being married and bring my son? Also, will it be hard to prove that it is in the best interest of the child if we are not getting married? We would be moving for his job.

forget it.

Give the father the child then do as you wish. You shacking up with a new boy toy won't cut it in court.

You are moving away from your child's father to be with a man who you are NOT married to, not committed to in the eyes of the law to start a life together for HIS job. How pray tell is this in the best interest of your son? Quite frankly it isn't. If you want to be with your boyfriend do what BB suggested or have Boyfriend move to NC.

You guys are no fun. At this point, we don't even know if the child has a father, we haven't gotten an opportunity to hear that he's a druggie, or he's abusive or his mom is cray. We didn't even get to hear where she wants to move to, or the fact that the boyfriend that she met online and hasn't ever even seen in person is going to make $2 more per hour, and she'll be able to stay home with the kid!

What is your problem? You don't have anything better to do than be a bitch! Sounds like your jealous of someone having a man. Having a hard time finding one? Maybe if you change you nasty attitude maybe you might be able to get a man. People ask questions for advice, not for your meaningless opinions!!!!!;)

Without the benefit of the FA crystal ball, my guess is that the OP is a minor herself that wants to move to TN with her baby daddy.

Too bad BB's "meaningless opinion" is legally relevant. And I didn't see where you gave a legally worthwhile opinion. Talk about being a *itch. Take some midol and your PMS might feel a bit better.
