What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Hi Everyone,

Anyone know of a legitimate place to find out if you have any wants or warrants?

I know I can go to the police dept bt thats crazy. Can I call them?

And as for on line places: There are so many out there and I tried a couple, didn't seem very re assuring.

Any one know of a legitimate place to find out on line or elsewhere?

Thank youWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

There are two ways to check for sure if you have a warrant: One, would be the courthouse since these are signed by a judge and unless the warrant has been sealed, the record of its existence may be public record. And, two, you can ask local law enforcement. They might decide NOT to tell you, but on the other hand, maybe they will.

There is no sure way to find out on line. It would be happenstance.

Have you tried the website of your local court? If the warrant was for a pending court case that you failed to appear on, then it may well be listed under any file associated to your matter.
