Hi! After 7 months of not paying rent and making our lives hell, my neighbors, in NJ, are being served with a "warrant for removal", should be any time now. My question is : how are they served,, will the person serving wait to deiver in person? and also, is there yet another thing she can pull (she filed bankruptcy the day before the last court date)to buy more time . The reason we are so curious is because we would like to stay in our place, got a great deal with rent, and moving after only 1 year would be a hassle. Please advise, someone who has been through this or knows the laws regarding this matter. Thanks in advance.
