a deed is an individually created document used for that specific transaction to transfer interest in property from the grantor to the grantee. While, in most parts, it could be an exact duplication of some existing deed, there are pieces of information unique to your transaction.

Due to your total lack of knowledge of this, I would suggest hiring a lawyer to write a deed for you. If you screw up something on a deed, it can be very difficult to correct, if it is even correctable, and would surely exceed the cost of having an attorney write a deed for you now.

thanks divona.

in light of the other post, she shouldn't accept title of the property until her divorce is final. It could cause some problems.

And NEVER complete a real estate transaction without a current title report/title insurance clearly showing the party is conveying their interest with no unknown attachments and that they still have the ownership and right to convey.
