Was I wrong.. Can she sue me?

I have 2 friends We'll call John and Jane, that have been dating and have a child together for 6 years. I have been told by Jane how she has sexual encounters with many different guys. And its not just me she tells these things to. She came to a dinner party at my home and had oral sex in my bathroom with 2 guys. I walked in on that and seen with my own 2 eyes. She recently became pregnant with her 2nd child. Worried, Jane went to a mutual friend of ours and told her she had slept with my cousin at her house and was worried it wasnt John's but my cousins. The friend confronted me with the info. I wrote my friend John to look into a paternity test before taking the responsibilty of "dad" to a child he believes is his.

Jane intercepted the letter and is threating my life. She has stated she would shoot me dead if she finds me (and she does own a gun registered under her name) She also has informed everyone that she is suing me for Defamation of Character due to my lies I am trying to spread. However I have the backing of the mutual friend, the 2 guys she had oral sex with in my house. I have not said anything false about her. Just stated the truth to a friend of mine because I would have wanted to know the truth about my girlfriend if she was cheating on me... Does she have a case?

If what you say is the truth then she doesn't have a winnable case.

File a complaint with the police

No one has a valid reason, whatsoever, to threaten your life, unless your name is Osama Bin Laden and the threateners last name is Bush! She has no case, tell her to go pound sand or take it to court.

Also, make sure you let the guy know what is going on!

Definitely tell "John" to be wary of any claim that the alleged baby is his.

Definitely file a complaint with the police or DDA about the threats.

Don't worry about the defamation accusations. A whore is a whore is a whore. If your info is correct she can't deny who she is. Or is that "ho" these days?
