What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

As many of you all know my ex filed contempt papers for me not allowing him to see our child he hasnt seen him since the sunday before thanksgiving and has not offered to see him since then. we have court on the 13th. before this happened i got charged with child endangerment and no child restraints and will be going to trial for that (it doesnt have anything to do with this case between me an my ex) but the girl who got subpoenad is one of my exs good firends and provided him a copy of the subpoena. he filed this in court for our case. Can this be used against me? i have many people telling me he had no right filing this info because it wasnt with our mutual child and this had nothing to do with him. he isnt even going for custody or joint custody just visitation so im curious why he would even submit this as part of our case? can i get a little help how this can even be useful for him?

Yes it can. You are a danger to children. Your criminal charges are PUBLIC NOTICE. It has something to do with him especially if this is another child under your stellar care.

Hopefully the child can be REMOVED from you. Hopefully CPS can do an investigation.

I would expect your ex to amend his filing, to be honest. Depending on what the situation is/was... it may have a negative effect on your custody situation.

DFS/CPS doesn't do anything for child endangerment or no child restraint tickets because our police station will not notify them (i have already been called on by dfs, they stated to me even the cannot do anything if and until a child is dangered by this like an accident)

Well he was told by the city this is my 7th ticket for child endangerment/no child restraints but the kids have not been taken out of my care. i am hoping the judge will look at him and say "this has nothing to do with your case, why are you filing this" but i dont understand my ex

I feel so sorry for your children.

So... are you saying that you don't insist on your children using seatbelts/child seats? Dad has a case, IMO.

no.. that is not what i am saying at all. this last time was not for my own children, yes i admit the other times were, but it's because i cannot afford it with as many kids as i have with no support. however, again, this has nothing to do with him or our current case why is he intruding and trying to bring this in if he doesnt want full custody

You've been cited / charged SEVEN TIMES for not having children in restraints?

I don't think I've even been PULLED OVER 7 times in my LIFE and I've been driving for 25 years.

Are you just a really slow learner, or is it too hard to put them in car seats, or what?

Huh? Seat belts have been standard in all cars since the 60's. What are you driving that doesn't have seat belts?

And you can get a car seat or booster seat for a few dollars at Goodwill (or some places will provide one for free). It would certainly cost far less than all the fines you're paying. Not to mention that you risk losing custody.

It's his wife's fault that you didn't properly restrain your children in the car, or his wife's fault that you got caught? You DO understand that some things are wrong, whether you get caught or not, right?

And just how many kids do you HAVE? And can you afford birth control?

i have 6 children and our oldest is 7 so no i cannot put them all in seat belts considering the ages of them and carseats do not fit in my car. yes it is her fault because i am trying to get by and she insists on calling the cops on me every single time it should be stalking or harrassment since she calls them EVERY single time i see her.
