I am in Washington DC. My question is whether or not social security disability benefits can in any way be seized or garnished
under a civil judgement. I am aware that the Federal government can and will withold social security benefits to pay off
a student loan. What I need to know is whether or not social security disability payments are immune to attack via a civil lawsuit.

Nope, they are immune. You can screw that up by depositing them into an account with other funds.

There is some limited protection for even that kind of screw up. This federal rule has been around for several years. Banks should be used to it.
