What is the name of your state? New Mexico. But happened in Texas
This has been bothering me for years. But I thought there was nothing I could do.
I have a daughter that is going to be 18 soon and I see her struggle and let alone what the schools here did to her..but thats another topic.
When I was pregnant with her I was taking Tegertol. I had a very mild case. Well I went to the doctor Dr, Rathbum in El Paso and he in creased me to three pills a day instead of two. I remember asking if there were any things to worry about he said no.He even continued me on that dose after I had her...I no longer take anything and stopped seeing him a few months after she was born...not a friendly man.
My daughter was born 5 weeks early with a clepht palate and has a lot of learning difficulties. Has always had shaky hands.
I know I probably waited too long but thought there might be a ray of hope.
She is going out into the world...and she needs help...that she wouldn't need if I was was warned about the harm that a medicine could do.

You should consult with a local med-mal attorney. Your *daughter* may have a case still...
